What You Consume Matters; Food, Ideas, Beliefs & The Story You Live

You are the creator of your experience. Everything you consume—food, ideas, thoughts, and beliefs —shapes not just your body, but also your brain, your mood, and your reality. We used to read stories that took us into imagined worlds. Today, we scroll through feeds hoping something will make us feel. However, passive consumption creates noise, doubt, and fragmentation. This blog invites you to become active and choose what you consume, so your mind, body, and spirit are lifted, not drained.

Eating for Longevity: How Modern Science Confirms Ancient Wisdom

Beyond fad diets and marketing trends, both science and ancient Ayurvedic wisdom tell us the same truth: real, whole food can heal. Studies now show that balanced, minimally processed diets improve longevity, brain health, and emotional stability. Ayurveda has been teaching this for millennia: food is medicine, and the way we eat is a mirror of how we live.

The Things I thought I needed (and what I actually found)

When I set out on what I half-jokingly called my adult gap year, I had a very clear picture of what I was chasing. I wanted adventure. Something new every day. A change of scenery. Access to incredible things for my photography.

Where Food Feels Like Home: Why Alchemy Café Ubud Is a Must for Conscious Travellers

Today, as we stepped out of the beautiful, sun-warmed space that is Alchemy in Ubud for the final time, we were handed a goodbye gift. Completely unexpected. Entirely unnecessary.

Ubud Unraveled: A Journey of Yoga, Stillness, and Self-Discovery

I have been in Ubud for three weeks now, and thanks to an extended visa, we get to stay for another 30 days. It might seem unusual to settle in one place during a gap year, but in many ways, it feels like we’ve moved here—at least temporarily—to rest and recalibrate. This gap year is not just a break from work but a departure from the world I used to inhabit. The transitions between countries won’t be rushed; moving every week would be unsustainable. Instead, we are easing into a rhythm, embracing a slower, more intentional way of being.

Why travel to Ubud, Bali, Indonesia?

Think about a place that is raw and dirty, rich in culture, tradition and family values, vegan-friendly and still on the list of affordable destinations. From Australia, it's Bali and if you want a slice of spirituality and yoga then it's Ubud. In January of this year, I attended a Yoga Teacher Training in Ubud and although the immersion was intoxicating and delicious in every way the place, the country and the people were amazing ingredients impossible to ignore. There is something special about Ubud and I want to try to capture it here.

Listening Inward: A Plant-Based Life as a Path to Wellness

I’ve been living a plant-based life for nearly a decade now. It began as a quiet shift — one rooted in curiosity and a desire to feel better in my body. You’re Already Helping: Finding Peace in Imperfect Climate Action

Wellness begins with how we treat ourselves — not just on the good days, but especially when the world feels overwhelming. Right now, the news is heavy: a global pandemic, wildfires across continents, and an ever-growing sense of ecological urgency. It’s a lot to carry. And while fear is a valid emotional response, it doesn’t have to be where we stay.
