For a long time, I believed that wellbeing had to look a certain way.
It had to be structured.
Disciplined.
Impressive.
Consistency meant doing more.
Progress meant pushing.
Rest was something to earn.
But somewhere between long travel days, nervous system fatigue, movement practices that felt more like performance than listening, and seasons where I simply didn’t have the energy to “improve” myself, something shifted.
I realised I didn’t need more motivation.
I needed interruption.
Small pauses.
Gentle returns.
A way back to myself that didn’t require force.
And from that understanding, the Words & Contemplations podcast was born.
This space is not about becoming a better version of yourself.
It’s about remembering the one you already are.
It is a quiet companion for women living real lives — working, caring, building, moving, navigating uncertainty — who want softer ways to support their nervous systems, their bodies, and their inner rhythm.
Inside the podcast, you’ll find three kinds of episodes:
- Short guided moments — gentle meditations for overwhelm, overstimulation, or exhaustion
- Readings — reflections on yoga, travel, self-worth, wellness and the mind-body connection
- Conversations — honest discussions about living well and building a life that feels like your own
This audio space is deeply connected to my embodiment work through Move with Fai, where movement becomes listening rather than performance, and rhythm replaces rigid discipline.
Over time, this podcast will expand into audio companions, embodied programs and live workshops. But at its heart, it will always remain simple.
A breath.
A pause.
A return.
You don’t need to be calm before you arrive here.
You don’t need to be consistent.
You don’t need to have everything figured out.
You are welcome exactly as you are.
If this resonates, I would love you to listen, subscribe, and share it with another woman who might need a softer way to begin.
Take one slow breath.
And begin.
